Sony Mobile expands its Xperia line again with two new entry-level handsets, the Xperia tipo and the dual-SIM variant Xperia tipodual. The tipo is designed to be easy to use and is targeted at consumers who may be getting their first smartphone. Sony Xperia acro S Waterproof Smartphone

Verizon’s Sony Ericsson Xperia, PS Verified PLAY now available for pre-order

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo launch delayed due to Japan quake

Sony Ericsson released a statement on Friday delaying the broader launch of the Xperia Neo until the third quarter due to supply chain disruptions caused by the earthquake in Japan. The firm said that volumes of its Xperia arc and Xperia PLAY were also affected, but it doesn’t appear that there are any delays with those launches. Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia Play in 11 Markets with 60 Games

Sony Ericsson announced today through an official press release the launch of the highly-awaited Xperia Play smartphone in 11 different countries across Europe and Asia — including the U.K., Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
