ZTE Introduce PF100 and T98 Quad-core Android ICS Tablets

Other than smartphones, ZTE also brings tablets to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012. Two quad-core tablets have been introduced, the PF100 and the T98, both powered by Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor featuring the fifth battery save core, 1GB of RAM and 16GB onboard memory. They will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The PF100 is the 10.1-inch WXGA model and the T98 gets a 7-inch WXGA tocuchscreen. Free Sky TV coming to tablets, smartphones, PCs and laptops

Sky is to offer a mighty suite of shows, both live streamed and catch up, to its subscribers to access via tablet devices, phones, PCs or laptops. And the best news is that it will be completely free. As of 6 July, Sky Player and Sky Mobile TV will be combined to create Sky Go, an entirely new hub for online access to the satellite broadcaster’s channels. Sony two new tablets launching this fall

Sony on Tuesday finally unveiled its first two tablet devices, which have been rumored for several months. For the time being, the tablets are known as the “S1″ and “S2,” though these are codenames and not launch names. Sony’s S1 is a 9.4-inch tablet that features an “off-center of gravity design,” and the S2 sports a folding form factor with dual 5.5-inch displays. Both tablets will feature Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) along with custom Sony software that focuses on media and entertainment. Opera Introduce New Touch-Based Web Browser ‘Opera for Tablets

Opera Software has announced a new touch-based web browser designed especially for tablets. The company plans to demo the new web browser at the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas. For now, you’ll have to get by with this (very short) video preview: The focus is, obviously, on the touch screen interface and the demo looks and behaves much like Mobile Safari for the iPad, except that in this case the browser is running on an Android tablet.
