Archos Introduce 80 G9 Turbo ICS Android 4.0 Tablet

Archos launches its Archos 80 G9 Turbo ICS tablet. As its name tells, the 8-inch tablet runs Android 4.0 ICe Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1.5GHz OMAP multi-core processor. The ICS tablet has a 1024×768 touchscreen, a 720p camera with HD 720p video recording. The Archos 80 G9 Turbo ICS supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, GPS, and WiFi connectivity and comes equipped with g-sensor, e-compass. It offers HDMI output and USB HOST port. HTC going to release Jetstream LTE/HSPA+ Android Tablet for AT&T

HTC is going to release the Jetstream, its first tablet running the tablet-oriented Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Exclusive to AT&T customers, the Jetstream supports LTE/HSPA+ 4G network and is available for $699.99 with a new two-year contract. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8260 SnapDragon 1.5GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. The HTC Jetstream sports a 10.1-inch WXGA 1280×800 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel main camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. Samsung unveils GALAXY Note smartphone & the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet

Samsung on Thursday unveiled two new GALAXY-branded devices at the IFA trade show in Germany, the Samsung GALAXY Note smartphone and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet. The former blurs the line between smartphone and tablet — and usable and comical — featuring a massive 5.3-inch 1280 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED display that will likely make this device unpocketable for most consumers. The phone also curiously employs a stylus for note taking and drawing, though finger input is supported as well. ViewSonic 7x to launch as first 7-inch Honeycomb tablet

ViewSonic is set to become the first company to launch a 7-inch tablet running Honeycomb, according to a new report on Wednesday. Pocket-lint cites anonymous trusted sources in claiming that the new tablet — referred to in the report as the ViewSonic 7x, though it would likely launch under the ViewPad brand — will be unveiled later this month at the annual Computex conference in Taipei. Reported specs for the upcoming Honeycomb tablet include a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, front and rear-facing cameras, HSPA+ support, DLNA support and an HDMI port. The 7x is expected to launch in June in certain markets, though we doubt U.S. availability should be expected any time soon.

Sony Revealed two Android 3.0 Tablets, S1 and S2

Sony announced that it is developing two tablets, codenamed S1 and S2, running Android 3.0. The Sony Tablets support WiFi and 3G/4G connectivity. The S1 is a 9.4-inch tablet with an “off-center of gravity design that realizes stability and ease of grip as well as a sense of stability and lightness”. On the other hand, the S2 features two 5.5-inch touchscreens that can be folded for easy portability. The S1 and S2 offers rich entertainment experience through Sony’s Qriocity music and video services and PlayStation Suite. The S1 can also be used as a controller for BRAVIA home entertainment devices using Infrared technology.
