Sony Ericsson Announced Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro Android Smartphones

Sony announced two new compact Android smartphones, the Xperia mini and the Xperia mini pro, building on the success of X10 mini X10 mini pro. These new mini phones are powered by 1GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Xperia mini and mini pro both feature 3-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording. They mini pro adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a front-facing VGA camera for video chat. The new Xperia phones support Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, DLNA and WiFi connectivity. Sony Ericsson Announced Android powered W8 Walkman phone

Looking for the newest Android 2.1 device? Neither are we. That’s why it’s no surprise Sony Ericsson quietly launched the Walkman W8. It’s the first Android device to sport the firm’s “Walkman” moniker, which should imply it has more music-centric services, but we’re not seeing anything extraordinary in its spec sheet. It’s loaded with the Walkman music player software, although that’s nothing to call home about. Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo launch delayed due to Japan quake

Sony Ericsson released a statement on Friday delaying the broader launch of the Xperia Neo until the third quarter due to supply chain disruptions caused by the earthquake in Japan. The firm said that volumes of its Xperia arc and Xperia PLAY were also affected, but it doesn’t appear that there are any delays with those launches. Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia Play in 11 Markets with 60 Games

Sony Ericsson announced today through an official press release the launch of the highly-awaited Xperia Play smartphone in 11 different countries across Europe and Asia — including the U.K., Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
