HTC Introduce J Butterfly: The 5-inch smartphone only available in Japan

HTC has announced the launch of a 5-inch Android smartphone in Japan, confirming rumours that it would, however the bad news, it is only available in Japan at the moment. The new device, dubbed the HTC J Butterfly, will sport the same screen size as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and come with a 5-inch 440ppi high resolution full HD 1920 × 1080 touchscreen display, run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4 on top, and be powered by a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Boost Mobile Introduce LG Marquee Android Smartphone

Boost Mobile, Sprint’s non-contract wireless brand, launches the LG Marquee mid-range Android smartphone with a ultra thin design. The slim device is just 0.36-inch thick. It sports a 4-inch 700-nit NOVA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel main camera with 720p video capability and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung unveils GALAXY Note smartphone & the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet

Samsung on Thursday unveiled two new GALAXY-branded devices at the IFA trade show in Germany, the Samsung GALAXY Note smartphone and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet. The former blurs the line between smartphone and tablet — and usable and comical — featuring a massive 5.3-inch 1280 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED display that will likely make this device unpocketable for most consumers. Nokia announced New 500 Smartphone gets 1GHz CPU for Symbian Anna

Nokia announced a new smartphone, the Nokia 500 running Symbian Anna OS on a 1GHz processor. The new phone features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 640×360 resolution, a 5 Megapixel caemra with video recording, 2GB internal storage, and FM radio receiver. The Nokia 500 supports GPS with pre-loaded Nokia Maps, Bluetooth 2.1 and WIFi 802.11b/g connectivity. It works with 3G networks and supporting up to HSUPA speeds.
