Boost Mobile, Sprint’s non-contract wireless brand, launches the LG Marquee mid-range Android smartphone with a ultra thin design. The slim device is just 0.36-inch thick. It sports a 4-inch 700-nit NOVA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel main camera with 720p video capability and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera. The Marquee runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on a 1GHz processor. It has 4GB internal storage and supports microSD card slot. LG World’s First Dual-Core Smartphone, LG Optimus 2X with Tegra 2

LG officially announced the Optimus 2X (aka LG Star), the world’s first dual-core smartphone, sporting a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor running at 1GHz. With a dual-core processor, the Optimus 2X is going to offer faster, smoother web browsing and applications and lets users multitask with virtually no screen lag. LG Optimus 2X features a 4-inch WVGA 800×480 touchscreen and a 8 Megapixel rear camera with 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video calling, 8GB internal storage.
