Thursday, May 19, 2011 10:29 No Comments

On Wednesday Delivery.com — the popular food delivery service — launched a dedicated iPhone application. It offers a bunch of useful features, including a “nearby” feature to find restaurants that deliver nearby, automatic sync with your account, the ability to filter for cuisine, distance, or rating, and more. Thursday, April 28, 2011 22:17 No Comments

That is because the majority of Android apps don’t cost any money, whereas the reverse is true for Apple’s store. Distimo thinks this is only the beginning, and that the Android Market could eventually grow to have more apps – paid and free – than iTunes or any other app store. “If all application stores maintain their current growth pace, approximately five months from now Google Android Market will be the largest store in term

Verizon stop iPhone pre-orders due to massive demand

Friday, February 4, 2011 18:20 No Comments

Yesterday, Verizon allowed customers who were already subscribers to its mobile service to pre-order the iPhone. In less than 24 hours, the carrier had to pull the phone’s pre-order page because of what it calls overwhelming demand. This isn’t unusual for the iPhone. When AT&T opened up iPhone 4 pre-orders last year, the site crashed almost instantly and customers were left to fervently refresh the site until they could put an order through.
