HTC has announced the launch of a 5-inch Android smartphone in Japan, confirming rumours that it would, however the bad news, it is only available in Japan at the moment. The new device, dubbed the HTC J Butterfly, will sport the same screen size as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and come with a 5-inch 440ppi high resolution full HD 1920 × 1080 touchscreen display, run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4 on top, and be powered by a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. HTC: Sense UI got too complicated

HTC‘s chief product officer believes HTC’s Sense UI has got too complicated. In an interview at the company’s press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Kouji Kodera told Pocket-lint that the company’s user interface, loved by millions of users around the world, has just become too cluttered. “From the original Sense up to Sense 3.5 we added too many things. Last year, there were plenty of rumors that Facebook was working on building a phone of its own. Ultimately, a pair of humdrum devices with a simple “Facebook button” ended up hitting the market, and the rumors stopped… until now. HTC going to release Jetstream LTE/HSPA+ Android Tablet for AT&T

HTC is going to release the Jetstream, its first tablet running the tablet-oriented Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Exclusive to AT&T customers, the Jetstream supports LTE/HSPA+ 4G network and is available for $699.99 with a new two-year contract. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8260 SnapDragon 1.5GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. The HTC Jetstream sports a 10.1-inch WXGA 1280×800 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel main camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. HTC Sensation available for pre-order from Vodafone UK

The HTC Sensation is now available for pre-order from Vodafone UK, and the carrier says early birds should have the phone in their hands as soon as May 19th. We had a chance to go hands-on with the Sensation early last month and fell in love with the phone. It runs a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and packs HTC’s brand new Sense user interface, an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p HD video, 4GB of internal storage, and a stunning 4.3-inch qHD display.
