Samsung delays Galaxy Tab 2 launch until end of April, ComputerWorld reports.

Samsung on Tuesday confirmed that its 7-inch and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 2 tablets have been delayed and will now start shipping to the U.K at the end of the month, ComputerWorld reports. When the Android 4.0 slates were announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the company said both devices would arrive in U.K. stores in March ahead of a global rollout. According to a Samsung spokesman, complications with Ice Cream Sandwich caused the delay is due to Ice Cream Sandwich, which both Samsung and Google need more time to work on. Just as a Veteren’s Day rumor has suggested, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Android tablet is just about ready to hit up the nation’s number two network, AT&T. For a not-so-cheap $649, users can get their hands on the device, benefits including “the nation’s fastest 3G network,” and Android 2.2 Froyo. Atop the $650 price tag, you’re going to need to pay monthly for internet connectivity, and data packages start at $14.99 month for 25oMB of data transfer, and $25 per month for 2GB of data transfer.
