Apple has admitted that 15 of its Chinese suppliers are violating environmental regulations and poisoning the local population. Apparently Jobs mob has sent five employees to meet with five different Chinese environmental groups on November 15, only to learn about several troubling environmental issues at as many as 22 parts suppliers. Chinese environmentalist groups claimed the factories were releasing toxic gasses, heavy metal sludge and other pollutants. News just broke that Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs has passed away at age 56, Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind Apple’s iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes, has died, Apple said. During its recap of iOS 5 features, Apple revealed that the new iOS will be coming on October 12th, together with iCloud. The new iOS will be available for both iPads, iPhone 3GS and 4 as well as third and fourth-gen iPod touch devices. Apple on Friday release iOS 5 beta 6 to developers. The new build is available as a 144MB over-the-air (OTA) update for developers with iOS 5 beta 3 and later installed on their iPhone, iPads or iPod touch devices. Of note, Apple does not recommend wiping your device prior to updating with this new build, as it did with beta 5. Adobe said that Android will win the tablet wars because Apple’s gear is not as Flash friendly. Steve Jobs famously refused to allow Apple fanboys to use Flash in his gizmos, claim they were responsible crashing his fruity toys. Apple is expected to finally unveil its cloud-based music service next month at its annual Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco. Apple has released iOS version 4.3.3 for the iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad and iPod touch (third and fourth generation), just as we reported. The only changes noted by Apple with this release pertain to the location tracking bug discovered recently. Apple states that this release “contains changes to the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache.” More specifically, the update “reduces the size of the cache,” “no longer backs the cache up to iTunes,” and “deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off.” An update carrying similar changes — iOS 4.2.8 — is available for the Verizon Wireless iPhone 4 as well.

Apple Inc. is apparently finally planning to release the highly-awaited white version of the iPhone 4 sometime in the coming weeks, according to reports by both Bloomberg Businessweek and The Wall Street Journal. The white iPhone 4 is believe to become available on both Verizon Wireless and AT&T. However, Apple has yet to officially confirm this. The white iPhone 4, as many of you might recall, has been delayed various times due to “issues with the undercoating paint.” Originally announced alongside the black iPhone 4 in June of 2010, the white iPhone 4 became very controversial over the past few months.
