Google & Samsung Announced the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0 Smartphone

Google and Samsung have announced the Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The phone features a 4.65-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and zero shutter lag, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat, Bluetooth 3.0, integrated NFC and 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/ 5GHz) WiFi connectivity. The Galaxy Nexus is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB or 32GB internal memory. HTC just took the wraps off the company’s latest device, the much-leaked HTC Sensation XL, also known by the code name “Runymede.” The specifications on the handset itself read much like the company’s HTC Titan Windows Phone device, and highlights include a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 16GB of internal storage, a 4.7-inch display, HSPA, an 8-megapixel camera and more. The HTC Sensation XL is also white, matching the like-colored Beats headphones perfectly. Apple iOS 5 coming in this month October 12th

During its recap of iOS 5 features, Apple revealed that the new iOS will be coming on October 12th, together with iCloud. The new iOS will be available for both iPads, iPhone 3GS and 4 as well as third and fourth-gen iPod touch devices.
