Sony launches three new entry-level Handycam Full HD camcorders, the HDR-CX190, HDR-CX200 and HDR-CX210. All of them are equipped with back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor for superb low-light video recording and a 25x optical zoom lens, which can be extended to 30x. They are capable of 1920x1080p Full HD video recording and 5.3 Megapixel still image shooting. The HDR-CX200 and HDR-CX210 both use Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens.

These entry-level Handycam camcorders all feature SteadyShot image stabilization w/ Active Mode for smooth and blur-free video recording, Intelligent Auto mode and Highlight Playback that identifies and compiles key scenes into a short, entertaining movie complete with music and transitions. The CX210 also offers Tracking Focus and wind noise reduction, and comes with 8GB internal memory.

The Handycam HDR-CX190 has a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD display, while the CX200 and CX210 have a 2.7-inch Clear Photo touchscreen display. They all have built-in USB cable and support Direct Copy to USB storage device without the need for a PC.

The HDR-CX190, HDR-CX200 come in black and are priced at $299.99 and $339.99, respectively. The HDR-CX210 is available in black, silver, blue and red and costs $369.99.
