Reportedly called Google Propeller, the new digital news platform is being developed for Android Honeycomb tablets as well as the iPad. Twitter now delivers 350 billion tweets each day

Twitter now delivers an astonishing 350 billion tweets each day, the company said on Friday. ”Delivering 350 billion Tweets a day is a terribly fun engineering challenge. But, it doesn’t capture how passionate our users are,” the company said from its official Twitter Engineering account. Coincidentally we’re sure, the news comes just one day after Google bragged that it had amassed 10 million Google+ users in just two weeks, and that these users collectively share 1 billion items each day. Twitter Negotiating data sharing deal with Microsoft’s Bing search

Twitter is reportedly renegotiating terms for a deal with Bing. The social networking and microblogging service failed to agree terms with Google earlier this month which saw Google suspend its realtime search product. Google had been allowed to access Twitter’s real time stream of tweet data. The agreement, originally announced in October 2009, expired on July 2. Twitter Finally Acquires TweetDeck, terms undisclosed

Twitter Considering Facebook Style Brand pages

Twitter might introduce pages for brands similar to those on Facebook, according to reports. The initiative, which Marketing Magazine reports is being lead by Twitter CEO Dick Costolo and President of Revenue Adam Bain, is to give brands their own space on Twitter — a page they could point to and use to deliver content, while encouraging Twitter users to follow them. Twitter Now Launches its own Official iPad App

Twitter has just announced the service’s official iPad app. It’s free and comes with a slew of touch interface bells and whistles built right in. The app is intended to allow for seamless navigation between tweets, photos, web pages, videos and other media and updates. It’s also usable even for those who don’t have Twitter  accounts. Twitter warns users to expect more downtime in the coming weeks

Twitter enjoys Great traffic from Google Organic search deal

According to ComScore’s latest data, which measures US web traffic, the number of unique visitors to Twitter increased by nine per cent from December 2009 to January 2010.
