HTC Introduce J Butterfly: The 5-inch smartphone only available in Japan

HTC has announced the launch of a 5-inch Android smartphone in Japan, confirming rumours that it would, however the bad news, it is only available in Japan at the moment. Samsung on Thursday unveiled two new GALAXY-branded devices at the IFA trade show in Germany, the Samsung GALAXY Note smartphone and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet. The former blurs the line between smartphone and tablet — and usable and comical — featuring a massive 5.3-inch 1280 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED display that will likely make this device unpocketable for most consumers. Sony announced two new compact Android smartphones, the Xperia mini and the Xperia mini pro, building on the success of X10 mini X10 mini pro. These new mini phones are powered by 1GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Xperia mini and mini pro both feature 3-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording. They mini pro adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a front-facing VGA camera for video chat. The new Xperia phones support Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, DLNA and WiFi connectivity.
