[ Rumor ] Sprint is going to Announce Samsung Galaxy Note

Sprint may be preparing to announce the Galaxy Note during next week’s Consumer Electronics Show. So far, we’ve only heard rumors that the device will launch on AT&T with 4G LTE support. The Galaxy Note is often referred to as a cross between a tablet and a phone, and it originally launched in Europe earlier this year. It is equipped with a large 5.3-inch display with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, a 1.4GHz processor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. If Sprint does launch the Galaxy Note, as SprintFeed is suggesting it will, the phone will likely come equipped with support for Sprint’s WiMAX network. Samsung Electronics launches Galaxy Note in S. Korea

Google and Samsung have announced the Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The phone features a 4.65-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and zero shutter lag, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat, Bluetooth 3.0, integrated NFC and 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/ 5GHz) WiFi connectivity. Samsung on Thursday unveiled two new GALAXY-branded devices at the IFA trade show in Germany, the Samsung GALAXY Note smartphone and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 tablet. The former blurs the line between smartphone and tablet — and usable and comical — featuring a massive 5.3-inch 1280 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED display that will likely make this device unpocketable for most consumers. Samsung reveals bada 2.0-powered Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y

Verizon to release Samsung Galaxy S II in July

Sprint announces Android based eco-friendly Replenish smartphone

Sprint on Friday announced the latest addition to its Android lineup, the Samsung Replensih. Billed as an eco-friendly smartphone, the Replenish is constructed of recycled and recyclable materials. It will also be the first Android-powered smartphone from Sprint that will not require the company’s $10 premium monthly data charge since the carrier made the new fee a requirement. Verizon Wireless Begins Rolling Out Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab

Verizon Wireless has begun rolling out an update for its version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Unfortunately, the update does not include a new iteration of the Android mobile platform. Instead, the update has been equipped with improvements and a few bug fixes, many of which promise to faster browser performance as well as better battery life. The update also includes a few new features that existing Samsung Galaxy Tab owners on Verizon Wireless will definitely welcome with open arms.
