Nokia introduces Lumia 610 Affordable Windows Smartphone

Nokia introduces its fourth and most affordable Lumia smartphone, the Lumia 610 running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. The new headset is boosted by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 800MHz processor with 256MB of RAM. It comes with 8GB storage and has no microSD slot. The Lumia 610 comes with a 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen and its 5 Megapixel auto focus camera is capable of 1280×720/30fps HD video recording. Nokia announced New 500 Smartphone gets 1GHz CPU for Symbian Anna

Nokia announced a new smartphone, the Nokia 500 running Symbian Anna OS on a 1GHz processor. The new phone features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 640×360 resolution, a 5 Megapixel caemra with video recording, 2GB internal storage, and FM radio receiver. The Nokia 500 supports GPS with pre-loaded Nokia Maps, Bluetooth 2.1 and WIFi 802.11b/g connectivity. It works with 3G networks and supporting up to HSUPA speeds. Nokia’s Windows Phones will launch in six European countries first

According to AllAboutPhones, Nokia will launch its first Windows Phone handsets in six European countries this year. Oddly, Finland will not be one of them. The Finnish phone maker has said that it plans to launch the new devices by Q4 2011, and the first six countries named include France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands. If your country isn’t on that list, fear not. Nokia has said that it plans to launch as many as a dozen Windows Phones throughout 2012, some of which will pack dual-core processors. Nokia Windows Phones to pack dual-core processors

Nokia will launch 12 Windows Phone devices in 2012 — and a few of them will offer dual-core processors. Speaking to Forbes during STMicroelectronics’ analyst day, STMicroelectronics’ CEO Carlo Bozotti confirmed that his company still has “very close relations” with Nokia and that it will be “an important supplier” in Nokia’s future Windows Phone products.
