Boost Mobile, Sprint’s non-contract wireless brand, launches the LG Marquee mid-range Android smartphone with a ultra thin design. The slim device is just 0.36-inch thick. It sports a 4-inch 700-nit NOVA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel main camera with 720p video capability and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera. AT&T Introduce LG Nitro HD Android Phone with 720p HD Display and LTE 4G

AT&T launches its third 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Nitro HD which is the carrier’s first smartphone to have  a true HD screen. The new Nitro HD comes with a 4.5-inch True HD AH-IPS (Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching) touchscreen with 1280×720 HD resolution (ie.329ppi) and 500 nit brightness. Verizon Wireless going to launch LG Enlighten on September 22nd for $79.99

Verizon Wireless on Wednesday announced the LG Enlighten, a new Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphone that will be available on September 22nd for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year agreement. The Enlighten offers a full QWERTY keyboard and a relatively basic feature set given its price. It is powered by an 800MHz processor and has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a relatively low 480 x 320-pixel resolution.
