HTC Introduce J Butterfly: The 5-inch smartphone only available in Japan

HTC has announced the launch of a 5-inch Android smartphone in Japan, confirming rumours that it would, however the bad news, it is only available in Japan at the moment. The new device, dubbed the HTC J Butterfly, will sport the same screen size as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and come with a 5-inch 440ppi high resolution full HD 1920 × 1080 touchscreen display, run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4 on top, and be powered by a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. HTC One X, One S and One V start arriving in Europe

HTC’s One-series of smartphones will debut on 2 April in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Though there’s no official word on a UK arrival, the fact the handsets are being shipped to Europe suggests UK customers will be able to get their mitts on them very soon. Comprised of the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V, the handsets are causing a ripple through the smartphone arena as all three will run on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich operating system from the off. HTC: Sense UI got too complicated

HTC‘s chief product officer believes HTC’s Sense UI has got too complicated. In an interview at the company’s press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Kouji Kodera told Pocket-lint that the company’s user interface, loved by millions of users around the world, has just become too cluttered. “From the original Sense up to Sense 3.5 we added too many things. HTC reportedly tapped to build Facebook phone, code-named ‘Buffy’

Last year, there were plenty of rumors that Facebook was working on building a phone of its own. Ultimately, a pair of humdrum devices with a simple “Facebook button” ended up hitting the market, and the rumors stopped… until now. HTC Sensation XL announced, 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 16GB of internal storage & Beats audio included

HTC just took the wraps off the company’s latest device, the much-leaked HTC Sensation XL, also known by the code name “Runymede.” The specifications on the handset itself read much like the company’s HTC Titan Windows Phone device, and highlights include a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 16GB of internal storage, a 4.7-inch display, HSPA, an 8-megapixel camera and more. The HTC Sensation XL is also white, matching the like-colored Beats headphones perfectly. This sleek Android phone is launching in Europe and Asia at the moment and U.S. availability is unknown, but we’ll keep you updated on that one.
