Nokia introduces Lumia 610 Affordable Windows Smartphone

Nokia introduces its fourth and most affordable Lumia smartphone, the Lumia 610 running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. The new headset is boosted by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 800MHz processor with 256MB of RAM. It comes with 8GB storage and has no microSD slot. The Lumia 610 comes with a 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen and its 5 Megapixel auto focus camera is capable of 1280×720/30fps HD video recording. The handset supports Bluetooth 2.1, GPS/AGPS and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, and it works with quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band WCDMA 3G networks. First Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango” device Toshiba-Fujitsu IS12T goes on sale

The Fujitsu IS12T device will be available in Japan in just a few hours time. The IS12T is the first Windows Phone device to be made available in Japan and the first to run Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango”. The waterproof phone features a 3.7″ WVGA display and is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8655 chipset. The device also includes a massive 13.2MP camera and 32GB of onboard storage. Commonly referred to as Windows Phone Mango, its codename, Windows Phone 7.5 was finalized by the software giant in late July. Nokia’s Windows Phones will launch in six European countries first

According to AllAboutPhones, Nokia will launch its first Windows Phone handsets in six European countries this year. Oddly, Finland will not be one of them. The Finnish phone maker has said that it plans to launch the new devices by Q4 2011, and the first six countries named include France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands. If your country isn’t on that list, fear not. Nokia has said that it plans to launch as many as a dozen Windows Phones throughout 2012, some of which will pack dual-core processors.
