Panasonic LUMIX DMC-S5 and DMC-S2 Affordable Compact Cameras

Panasonic introduces two new affordable compact digital cameras, the LUMIX DMC-S5 and DMC-S2. Both models are equipped with a 4x optical zoom LUMIX DC VARIO lens with 28mm wide angle, and offers 8x intelligent zoom. The two cameras are almost identical except for the sensor. The former packs a 16.1 Megapixel CCD sensor and the S2 has a 14 Megapixel imagers. Canon EOS-1D C DSLR Camera with 4K Video Recording

Canon expands its Cinema EOS line with the new EOS-1D C, a hybrid DSLR camera that combines the convenient form factor of a DSLR with Full HD and 4K video recording. The new compact DSLR sports an 18.1 Megapixel 24mmx36mm full-frame Canon CMOS sensor and is capable of 8-bit 4:2:2 Motion JPEG 4K video recording at 24fps and Full HD 1920×1080 video at selectable frame rates from 24p to 60p. Videos are recorded to CF memory card. Panasonic Lumix GF5 updates GF3, brings new sensor, handgrip, features

The Panasonic Lumix GF5 is the latest Micro Four Thirds compact system camera from the Japanese company. It replaces 2011’s GF3 and is the most compact G series camera in the range. The new model doesn’t just update the Lumix GF3, however, it incorporates a brand new 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor, with new silicone, which Panasonic told us offers an improved signal to noise ratio.
