Sprint, Cleawire near deal for 3 to 5 year network-sharing agreement

Sprint and Clearwire are close to inking a deal that will extend an existing network-sharing agreement an additional 3-5 years, Bloomberg Businessweek said Friday. The current agreement will terminate at the end of 2012. Allegedly, the deal is not final and could still fall through. If it is finalized, Sprint is poised to pay less for access to Clearwire’s network than it currently does. Google & Samsung Announced the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0 Smartphone

Google and Samsung have announced the Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The phone features a 4.65-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and zero shutter lag, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat, Bluetooth 3.0, integrated NFC and 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/ 5GHz) WiFi connectivity. The Galaxy Nexus is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB or 32GB internal memory. Steve Jobs thoughts on Microsoft from his official biography reveal that he felt Google and Microsoft were similar. Speaking to Walter Isaacson in a series of over 40 interviews, Jobs said “Microsoft and Google have a lot in common.” He described Microsoft’s lack of humanity and labeled Microsoft as a pure technology company. “They just didn’t get it, even when they saw the Mac they couldn’t even copy it well.
