It’s been more than five months since Nokia announced the N8, the first in a new breed of Symbian OS-based phones that Nokia hopes will give cutting-edge handsets like the iPhone and the Motorola Droid X a run for their money. Facebook and Skype will bring together contacts, communication

Facebook and Skype have reportedly decided to team up together to integrate contact lists, voice and video chat, and other messaging services. The integration could allow users to actually make phone calls to their friends on Facebook, using the voice-over IP service powered by Skype. It would also link the two services together, creating a universal friend/contact list between them. Glasses-free 3D for iPhone and Android phones, Coming Now

Spatial View is developing an app and hardware solution allowing users to watch glasses-free 3D stereoscopic movies and images on their iPhones and Android mobiles. The 3DeeCentral app for the iPhone will appear first. It is a portal to an online movie store where users will be able to download content designed to work in conjunction with Spatial View’s 3DeeSlide. The iPhone app has been submitted to Apple for approval, with an Android app in development too. The 3DeeSlide is a clip on lenticular lens attachment, which works in portrait and landscape modes and also supports touch-through. Firefox for Android Is Growing Up very Fast

The newest nightly builds of Firefox Mobile for Android phones are fast, stable, and — unlike the previously released alpha we told you about last month — actually usable. Development on Firefox for Android is progressing rapidly, and there are a lot of small tweaks and changes to be found in the new nightly builds.
