Firefox New Version 3.6.4 is now protected against unstable plugins

Mozilla has equipped the latest iteration of its popular Firefox browser with a “crash protection” shield to guard against unstable third-party plugins. “Release 3.6.4 provides…protection for Windows and Linux users by isolating third-party plugins when they crash,” explained Mozilla developer Mike Beltzner. “Results from our beta testing show Firefox 3.6.4 will significantly reduce the number of [browser] crashes experienced by users who are watching online videos or playing games. Kinect gesture-controls for Xbox 360 priced at 150 dollars

Microsoft’s online store on Tuesday had a 150-dollar price tag on its upcoming Kinect controllers for Xbox 360 videogame consoles. Adobe’s Flash Player 10.1 Sent to Phone Makers

Adobe Systems plans to release the final version of Flash Player 10.1 for smartphones on Tuesday, but very few people will be able to use it right away. Flash Player 10.1 is designed to offer a consistent user experience across laptops, desktops, tablets, phones and televisions. The player for desktops became available June 10. Users of phones running Android 2.2 will be the first to get the player, said Anup Muraka, director of technology strategy at Adobe. The trouble is that version 2.2 has so far only been pushed out to review units of one phone model, the Nexus One.
