Lenovo has debuted an ARM-based smartbook powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon chipset platform. The Skylight – which combines the best of smartphones and netbooks – features all day battery life (10 hours), WiFi/3G connectivity and a custom interface with live web gadgets. The ex-president of Google China has claimed that Apple’s upcoming tablet device will feature a 10.1-inch screen, webcam and an “awesome UI.” “The Apple Tablet looks like a bigger iPhone that sports an awesome UI packed in a beautiful 10.1-inch screen,” Kaifu Lee wrote in a blog post translated by Gadget Mix. “The tablet combines the functions of both netbook and kindle, an ebook reader.
